The Management Foundations Program supports your organization's new managers, emerging managers, and individual contributors preparing to step into supervisory roles. The transition into management is significant, and most people begin without structured guidance.
This program provides a practical, supportive pathway for developing the core skills needed for effective day-to-day management in your organizational context.
Program Overview
Participants move through a three-month learning journey that combines workshops, applied practice, peer learning, and reflection. The structure reinforces new skills with repetition, accountability, and real-world application.
-
Monthly 2-hour workshops focused on essential management skills
-
Bi-weekly peer learning circles for discussion and shared support
-
Practice activities between sessions to apply tools immediately
-
A small cohort format that builds connection and accountability
Outcomes

Strategic Manager Program
Advance your managers' skills for organizational impact
Cohort Based - up to 25 participants
6 months
The Strategic Manager Program is designed for experienced managers, mid-level supervisors, and others who oversee teams, programs, or initiatives that require strategic decision-making. As managers advance in their roles, their work shifts from task coordination to broader responsibilities: aligning people and resources, anticipating challenges, navigating organizational complexity, and making decisions that influence outcomes beyond their own team. This six-month program provides the structure, tools, and practice managers need to operate confidently and effectively at this higher level.
Program Overview
The Strategic Manager cohort meets over six months and blends workshops, applied learning, peer dialogue, and a real-world strategic project. The longer duration allows participants to practice new skills, reflect on patterns, and apply strategic concepts to current work in meaningful, sustained ways.
The cohort experience includes:
-
Monthly 2-hour workshops focused on advanced management capabilities
-
Monthly peer forums for problem-solving and shared learning
-
A strategic project that applies tools to an actual organizational challenge
-
Between-session practice activities that reinforce concepts
-
A structured cohort environment that supports accountability, connection, and reflection

-
See the bigger picture—use systems thinking to understand organizational dynamics, anticipate challenges, and make informed decisions.
-
Create alignment across people and work—communicate direction clearly, influence stakeholders, and connect team priorities to broader organizational goals.
-
Address challenges with strategic intent—navigate change, balance competing demands, and apply structured decision-making to real problems.

Personalized Development for Managers
Embedded Experiences
Individual Development
Individual development sessions provide managers with focused time to reflect, strengthen core skills, and apply new practices to their real work. These conversations help managers clarify expectations, navigate challenges, and make intentional choices about how they show up in their roles. The structure allows for steady progress through regular touchpoints, optional assessments, and targeted tools they can use immediately. This option is ideal for new and mid-level managers who want guidance, accountability, and practical support as they grow in responsibility.
Advanced Development for Mid-Level Managers
Mid-level managers often face broader organizational complexity—multiple teams, competing priorities, and increased expectations for influence in multiple directions. Advanced development sessions help expand capacity to scan the environment, align people and resources, and make decisions that support long-term organizational success. Engagements can include multi-rater assessments, structured reflection, and support for navigating change, managing up, and leading across departmental boundaries. This option is well-suited for managers preparing for expanded roles or seeking to deepen their organizational impact.
Small-Group Development Circles
Some managers grow best when learning alongside peers who face similar challenges. Development Circles bring together a small cohort to discuss real scenarios, share insights, and practice tools in a supportive, facilitated environment. The group setting encourages connection, builds accountability, and reinforces learning through diverse perspectives. These circles are excellent for new manager cohorts, cross-functional groups, or organizations wanting to strengthen their management community and create shared practices across teams.
