Service Description

The Management Foundations Program supports new managers, emerging managers, and individual contributors preparing to step into supervisory roles. The transition into management is significant, and most people begin without structured guidance. This program provides a practical, supportive pathway for developing the core skills needed for effective day-to-day management. Program Overview (3 Months) Participants move through a three-month learning journey that combines workshops, applied practice, peer learning, and reflection. The structure reinforces new skills with repetition, accountability, and real-world application. The cohort includes: * Monthly 2-hour workshops focused on essential management skills * Bi-weekly peer learning circles for discussion and shared support * Practice activities between sessions to apply tools immediately * A small cohort format that builds connection and accountability Outcomes - Throughout the program, managers build practical capabilities and experience tangible improvements in how they communicate, organize work, and support their teams. By the end of the three months, participants are able to: 1. Communicate with clarity—set expectations, hold meaningful conversations, give feedback, and reduce ambiguity. 2. Organize and manage work effectively—delegate thoughtfully, support others’ performance, and manage priorities and workload with intention. 3. Address challenges early and constructively—navigate conflict, build trust, and strengthen everyday decision-making. Program Structure - Each month builds intentionally on the previous one: 1. Month 1 – Foundations: Understanding the manager role, establishing communication norms, and creating clarity for teams. 2. Month 2 – Core Skills: Practicing feedback, conflict navigation, delegation, and workload management through applied exercises. 3. Month 3 – Integration: Applying skills to real scenarios, strengthening decision-making, and developing a personal management plan. Optional Add-Ons: * Individual assessments (DISC, EQ, KAI) * One-on-one development sessions
